Rocklin also has 200 acres of open space. Rocklin features two beautiful golf courses centered around two of the city’s prime communities – Whitney Oaks and Whitney Ranch.
There is a volunteer operated dog park to exercise your four-legged friends.For Frisbee enthusiasts there is an 18-hole disc golf course.Rocklin has one public library. Whitney and Rocklin high schools host public aquatic activities for all ages.The Parks and Recreation department host many events for all ages throughout the year including Evening in the Park concerts and movies, a gingerbread house contest, Family Halloween Festival, and many more.For shopping, dining, and entertainment residents can enjoy Blue Oaks Town Center, which offers a wide range of shopping, restaurants and a movie theatre. There is also an antique mall within the city.
